The Vestil SLPT-33 low-profile hopper has a tapered side, a removable handle, and four caster wheels, and can be used under machinery or conveyors to collect waste or other materials for removal. The hopper is made of 14-gauge steel, which is stronger than aluminum and more resistant to fractures than cast iron. Gauge is a measure of thickness (the lower the gauge, the thicker the material). The blue powder-coated finish resists scratches, chipping, fading, and other wear. One side of the hopper is tapered to facilitate loading and unloading. The push handle can be removed to use the hopper without it. The caster wheels measure 2 inches wide and 5 inches in diameter and are made of polyolefin, which is resistant to water, impacts, and abrasions and won't mark floors. Two of the wheels swivel for maneuverability. This hopper has a volume of 1/3 cubic yard and a load capacity of 1,000 lb. It weighs 155 lb. and measures 37 x 30-1/4 x 54 inches (H x W x D). (H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.)
