The dolly is made of steel, which is stronger than aluminum and more resistant to fractures than cast iron. The blue powder-coated finish resists scratches, chipping, fading, and other wear. Each roller is made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride), which is resistant to wear and corrosion, and can hold carpet to be unrolled as needed. V-shaped grooves in the frame help secure the carpet and prevent it from rolling off the dolly. The retractable legs can be folded down to help steady the dolly. The pneumatic wheels measure 4 inches wide and 16 inches in diameter, provide better traction than polyurethane wheels, are shock-absorbent, and can be used on uneven surfaces. This dolly has a load capacity of 500 lb., weighs 95 lb., and measures 20 x 26 x 60 inches (H x W x D).
